• NB: Due to the Covid-19 safety guidelines and restrictions, it will unfortunately not be possible for you to collect your T-shirt and other merchandise from us this year. So in order to ensure your safety, Algoa FM has negotiated a special R130 courier rate for bulk parcels of over 5 kg and up to 20 kg. If you split the cost of delivery between your family, friends and colleagues, the ‘per unit’ cost will be less than what you would pay for fuel to drive somewhere to collect your shirt. Plus, instead of having to stand in a queue, you will have your T-shirt conveniently delivered to your door.
  
  

• Why a Virtual Big Walk?
  As much as we love the camaraderie and fun of the annual mass participation walk along the Port Elizabeth beachfront, there is a risk (and mass events are still prohibited). Therefore, to keep participants and organisers safe, we have decided to allow people to walk safely from their homes – wherever they are in the world – to still support a great cause.
• How does It work?
  You walk at your own pace and route for five kilometres from any location you choose between 08:00  to 10:00 on Saturday, 31 October 2020.
• Where can I do the virtual walk?
  Walk wherever you are. You can walk in your neighbourhood or in safe, socially distanced space from 8am to 10am on Saturday, 31 October 2020. (Government lockdown regulations apply)
• When do online entries and merchandise orders close?
  At midnight on Friday, 30 October 2020. Please note that merchandise ordered after Monday, 26 October, might not be delivered before the event.
