Event ran 5 years agoThe 2020 Beesloop Plaaswedloop took place on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 07h30 at the Oudewagendrift, Overhex Road in Worcester, Western Cape. Distances included a 20km, 10km and 5km races....
This trail run is manageable, varied and a fun 5km (pram and toddler-friendly), 10km or 20km through the orchards, vineyards and mealie field, finishing through the cow stalls!
A slight climb on the 10km route will take runners onto the lower flanks of the surrounding mountains with the 20km being a bit more challenging, but with views to thrill. Goodie bags are issued for all the 20km runners who entered by 10 March only.
There are lots to enjoy at the finish, including yummy food and drinks, finisher medals, lots of lucky draws, and for the competitive souls, prize money! Come spend some time on a historic working farm and enjoy some good old small town hospitality.
