We so often fail to celebrate those who have made major contributions to our lives, while they are still with us. The Chasing Legends Road Races is an initiative by the Worcester Athletic Club to celebrate the lives and careers of a number of our members that have made invaluable contributions to our running community and the community at large.
Kosie Koopman is synonymous with running, not only in Worcester but countrywide. He has coached some of the giants of South African running, but he seems to be happiest when he espouses the benefits and joys of running to the everyone crossing his paths.
He has been the people's champion for more than 60 years, winning, coaching and serving our community without reserve.
We would like to invite you to join us on April 13, 2019, to celebrate his remarkable career and life.
