About this event

The 2024 City2City Ultra Marathon took place on Sunday, 31 March 2024, at Centurion Rugby Club in Pretoria, Gauteng. Distances were 50km, 10km and 5km. Official results have been published by the timekeeper. It was a qualifying event for the Comrades Marathon.

After an eight years hiatus, the City2City Ultra Marathon is back better and mouth watering bigger.

The 50km ultra marathon returns with a staggering overall purse of R1.2 million, with R200 000 going to each of the winners, with the runners-up taking R100 000 each and third-placed finishers pocketing R50 000 each.

The beloved road race will take place on the 31 March 2024 beginning at Centurion Rugby Club at 6am and finishing at The Wanderers Sports Club in Johannesburg.
