An admin fee of R5 will be levied for online entries

Number collection will also take place on the day from 05h00 - 05h45

Only Runners from other Provinces & outside Kimberley area may collect their race tags on Race Day from 05:00 to 05:45 at Magersfontein Main Gate.

All Covid-19 Regulations need to be adhered to
The Magersfontein medal never gets repeated. It is a different design every year with an Anglo Boer War theme. This has made the Magersfontein race medals a collector’s item amongst runners.
The race starts at the main gate at Magersfontein with the Kimberley Regiment Pipers setting the runners off.
The route follows a gravel road to Modder River and back finishing on top of the Magersfontein Ridge at the museum. The route also crosses the battlefield during the Anglo Boer War.
The waterpoint halfway is at the Crown and Royal Hotel in Modder River which was the Officers Mess of the British troops during the battle.
Shuttle service will be available to parking area every hour
No parking allowed at the museum
