The Powerade Marakele Marathon offers an exceptional opportunity to run through Big 5 Country in the beautiful Marakele National Park. As a Comrades qualifier, there’s a 42km / 21km / 10km or 5km fun run on offer to runners and adventurers of all ages.
The route takes runners on a scenic adventure through the park, with SANParks rangers and Honorary Rangers on hand for support. 2022 marks the 4th race in our Big 5 Series – the “Year of the Buffalo” – in support of conservation initiatives in the Marakele National Park.
