About this event
The 2020 Slave Route Challenge took place Sunday, 23 February 2020 from 06:30, at City Hall, Darling Street in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. Distances included a 21km, 10km and 5km races.
Entries have been extended until 14 February or until sold out!
Celebrating 10 years in 2020! Cape Town was built by those who were enslaved and apprentices from Indonesia and Malaysia, many Capetonians can trace their ancestors back to this time. A running event with the purpose of raising awareness about our history & heritage, Slave Route Challenge Powered by Brimstone! It truly encapsulates the spirit of Ubuntu!
