About this event
The 2024 Cape Gate Vaal Marathon took place on Sunday, 3 March 2024, at Dick Fourie Stadium in Vereeniging, Gauteng. Distances were 42.2km, 30km, 21.1km, 10km and 5km. Official results have been published by the timekeeper. It was a qualifying event for both the Comrades Marathon and the Two Oceans Marathon.
The 2024 Cape Gate Vaal Marathon is taking place on Sunday 3 March 2024 and will be the 49th running of this event.
Distances will be 42.2km, 21.1km, 10km and 5km. After the success of the +-30km distance that was introduced last year, the club decided to make this distance a permanent addition to our event.
2024 Event T-shirts and buffs will be available for purchase online, as well as the 2023 event t-shirt at a reduced price.
