About this event

The 2023 Algoa FM Big Walk for Cancer took place Saturday, 28 October 2023 from 08:00, at Pollock Beach, Marine Drive, Summerstrand in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Distances included a 5km race.

The Algoa FM Big Walk For Cancer presented by ISUZU Motors South Africa is a legacy event, in its 25th year and remains the biggest charity participation event in the Eastern Cape. This year, the event continues as a hybrid event with physical and virtual walks in support of those affected by Cancer.

Anyone from anywhere in South Africa or the world can join in on the fun. Walk, run or stroll with friends and family wherever you like on Saturday, 28 October.

There will be 3 different venues you can choose from, or there is a virtual option as well:

• Pollock Beach, Marine Drive, Summerstrand, Gqeberha
• Old Selbornian Club, 27 Pearce Street, Baysville, East London
• George Golf Club, 16 CJ Langehoven Road, George
