About this event
The 2024 Baby Elephant took place on Saturday, 20 April 2024, at Phalaborwa Road Runners Clubhouse in Phalaborwa, Limpopo. Distances were 32km, 21.1km, 10km and 5km. Official results have been published by the timekeeper.
Baby Elephant is one of the old running events which was hosted by Phalaborwa Road Runners and we just brought it back.
The race starts at Phalaborwa Road Runners Clubhouse and runs towards the Police Station, turn left towards Foskor Mine. 5km and 10km will turn on Foskor Road and 21.1km and 32km will proceed toward Lepelle Waterboard.
32km will go up Foskor Viewpoint which is 2km of up run and another 2km coming down, then rejoin 21.1km route. Both 21.1km and 32km will turn and again at Foskor Viewpoint 32km will go up again before rejoining 21.1km route as both races run back to Phalaborwa Road Runners Clubhouse.
