The 2022 NFB Tony Viljoen Masters Marathon took place Sunday, 29 May 2022 from 07:00, at N6 @Cobongo turn off, between East London & Stutterheim in East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Distances included a 42km and 21km races.

Comrades Qualifier

We have received requests from some runners aged 20 to 29 for permission
to join masters runners in the marathon in order for them to set a
qualifying time for Comrades 2022.
We are pleased to announce that we have been granted permission for seniors aged from 20 to 29 to enter and to run specifically to qualify. (The half marathon remains a 30 and over event)
