About this event
One of the oldest and most scenic marathons in the Western Cape, the Balwin Sport Peninsula Marathon takes in the length of the Cape Peninsula, starting in Green Point and finishing at the historic Simon's Town Naval Sports Ground. The route is fast and flat, taking in a glorious sunrise and roughly 15km of running along the stunning False Bay coastline towards the finish line.
The event is an Abbott age group World Rankings qualifier as well as a Two Oceans and Comrades qualifier
