50km entries must belong to a club. No temp license except for international athletes at a cost of R105

No refunds of entry fees

Number Collection will take place at:
- Sea Point High School Hall on Friday, 11 July @ 15h30-20h00
- the venue on Saturday, 12 July @ 10h00-17h00

Sunday 13 July at the Marquee opposite SABC building for race day collections 05h30-07h00

START & FINISH: Start and finish for all distances at Sea Point Promenade (Opposite SABC)

Handouts

Medals to all athletes who finishes within the cut-off time

Hydration

Water points will be provided

Parking

NO Vehicles are allowed on the lawns at any time! Use public parking spaces in the surrounding area

Timing

The 50km, 21km and Relay will be electronically timed with PEAK TIMING Service Provider

Tog Bags

Tog bag facilities will be available

Headphones

The use of music players with headphones is not allowed and may result in disqualification

Refreshments

Refreshments will be on sale

Abultion

Toilets will be available at the start and finish

Medical

Medical staff will be on duty

The Route:
- The Half Marathon route starts on the Promenade in Sea Point opposite the SABC building. Runners proceed along the promenade in the direction of Camps Bay until Arthurs Road, where they turn into Beach Road and head back towards Cape Town. At Rocklands Road, they do a U-turn and head out along Beach Road towards Camps Bay. The runners continue along Beach Road until the circle at the bottom of Queens Road, where they turn left, cross over Regent Street and up to Kloof Road. At Kloof Road they will turn right and continue along this road. Kloof Road merges into Victoria Road after Camps Bay High School and runners continue along this road towards Hout Bay. The turnaround point is after the 11km mark in Victoria Road. The runners will continue along Victoria Road and turn left into Seacliff Road and proceed down into Beach Road, Sea Point. Once in Beach Road the runners will run along the
  Promenade towards the Finish.
- The 50km – Every kilometre of the 5 km loop will be clearly signposted. See the route map inside the leaflet, for details. It is flat and being at sea level is suited to PB’s and records. Street lighting along the entire loop makes night running relatively safe.

If you Google “Running Training Programs” or something similar you will find many free programs out there. And some are great, but if you are looking for something more, Coach Parry is the way to go.

They have a whole range of programs, and an awesome app to help you every step of the way. What is more you can join the forums on their website to ask questions or advise.

Coach Parry himself, the Official Coaching Partner for the Comrades, Soweto Marathon & Om die Dam Ultra will be on hand to provide answers and give advise.
