The 2026 Elliot Madeira Marathon took place on Sunday, 20 September 2026, at Mthatha Sports Field in Mthatha, Eastern Cape. Distances were 42.2km, 21.1km, 10km and 5km. Results have not been published yet. It was a qualifying event for both the Comrades Marathon and the Two Oceans Marathon.
