About this event

The 2026 Balwin Properties False Bay 50km took place on Saturday, 2 May 2026, at Gordon's Bay Primary School in Gordon's Bay, Western Cape. Distances were 50km and 10km. Official results have been published by the timekeeper. It was a qualifying event for the Comrades Marathon.

The Strand Athletics Club, with the assistance of the Hangklip Athletics Club, proudly presents the iconic point‑to‑point race from Kleinmond to Gordon’s Bay along the scenic coastal road past Betty’s Bay, Pringle Bay, Rooi Els and Kogel Bay. A 10 km run starting and finishing in Gordon’s Bay has been added.


The 50 km race is a Comrades Marathon qualifier (sub‑06h10 required).
