About this event
The 2026 Hessequa Heritage Trail Run will take place Saturday, 26 September 2026 from 07:30, from Jongensfonteint to Stilbaai in the Western Cape, South Africa. Distances include a 16km and 5km races.
Join us for a beautiful coastal running experience in the heart of Stilbaai! Whether you're chasing a podium finish or simply enjoying a relaxed run or walk, this event offers something for everyone.
With scenic routes starting from Jongensfontein and Skulpiesbaai, runners will experience breathtaking ocean views, fresh sea air, and the warm hospitality of our community.

Race notes
- 16km Heritage Trail Run: Shuttle service: a Bus will leave for Jongensfontein from the parking area / registration area at Bertie Barnard Primary School at 8:00. If you miss the shuttle, you will have to make your own transport arrangements. (There will be no return shuttles from Jongensfontein back to Stilbaai)
- 5km Mini Trail: Shuttle service: Only 1 Shuttle/Bus will leave for Skulpiesbaai from the parking area / registration area at Bertie Barnard Primary School at 8:30. If you miss the shuttle, you will have to make your own transport arrangements. (There will be no shuttles back from the starting point at Skulpiesbaai to the finish venue)

TRANSPORT: Only 1 bus will leave from Bertie Barnard Primary School for Jongensfontein at 8:00 sharp
