About this event

The 2024 Knysna Heads Marathon took place Saturday, 2 March 2024 from 06:00, at Thesen Islands in Knysna, Western Cape, South Africa. Distances included a 42km, 21km, 10km and 5km races.

This fast and flat marathon is a great qualifier for Two Oceans and Comrades. The scenic route takes you out along the lagoon to Leisure Isle, and then back out to the Phantom Pass Road, and finishes at Thesen Island. Many a PB has been done on this route.

There are options for a 42.2km full marathon or the 21.1km half-marathon.
