About this event

The 2018 Metropolitan Slave Route Challenge took place on Sunday, 13 May 2018, at Grand Parade in Cape Town, Western Cape. Distances were 21.1km, 10km and 5km. Official results have been published by the timekeeper.

A unique race with a heritage and historic significance.  This event
traces the ‘slave route’ and honours those who built Cape Town.
