Soshanguve Great Run, is a one-day event (10km, 5km & 1 mile for kids) approved by Athletics Gauteng North (AGN) on behalf of Athletics South Africa (ASA). The race will take place at Soshanguve Crossing Mall on the 15th June 2024.
The race will start at the mall and go outside around the block L premises and finish at the mall. The duration of the event is an estimation of 3 hours starting from 07:00-10:00. The Race is estimated to attract + - 1000 participants. Our expectations out of this race are to motivate and educate people, both young and adults about the benefits of participating in sports (health and wellness) and also to raise funds for our running club.
Organizing this race will also identify talent within the community and identified athletes will get the opportunity to join our running club for free. Our club motor is to change lives through sports.
