About this event
The 2026 Soweto Cabal 10km will take place Sunday, 2 August 2026 from 07:00, at University of Johannesburg - Soweto Campus in Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa. Distances include a 10km and 5km races.
Now on its third year, the race promises to be a fun-filled family affair as the route winds itself around Pimville taking in sights such as the Soweto Country Club Golf Course, a run past Sun Valley which was strongly associated with the exciting Pimville United Brothers (PUBS) soccer team.
Food stalls, activations by sponsors, aerobics and a DJ will keep runners and all in attendance entertained. Do not miss out on this fun event. Part of the proceeds from the race will be utilised as part of the club's social impact programme which includes the establishment of Youth Development Programme and other community empowerment initiatives.
Come and lets have fun as we spend the crisp morning around the beautiful township of Pimville in search of health and wellness.
