About this event
The 2026 Food Lover's Market Tekkie Challenge will take place Saturday, 5 September 2026 from 07:30, at Jan Kriel School in Kuilsrivier, Western Cape, South Africa. Distances include a 16km, 10km and 5km races.
A Charity event in aid of children with special educational needs.
This fun event for the whole family is the perfect way to herald in the start of spring while you support our charity and make a difference in the lives of children with learning disabilities.

No headphones permitted on the route — race rules.
- EVENT ENTRANCE:
- Follow directions from Amandel Road to the entrance for parking.
- Come early to avoid traffic delays at entrance gate.
- Gate opens at 05:30.
- Skool and Church streets will be closed for race start.
