The Gauntlet is a 12-hour backyard-style trail ultra with a twist.

• Format: One lap every hour, on the hour, for 12 hours.
• Distances: Each lap is decided by a card draw from the race director. The distance can be anywhere between 4km and 8km. Towards the later hours, there may be a few longer laps added depending on how many runners are still in the game.
• Terrain: Majority single track, with sections of jeep track, boulders, rivers, short climbs, and technical patches. A true trail runner’s playground.
• Categories:
  • Overall Finishers: All runners who complete at least one lap receive a medal.
  • Final Lap Prizes: The 3 fastest runners on the final lap win prizes.
  • Early Bird Perk: All entries before Sunday 5 October 2025 include a Gauntlet shirt.

The Gauntlet doesn’t separate into road vs. trail vs. fun run - it’s one event, one format, built for runners who want to test themselves against chance, endurance, and the elements.
