Lilyfontein Twizza Tomato TROT 2025

This year celebrates the 30th Tomato Trot & Cycle to be hosted by Lilyfontein School. The event will include a 35km cycle, 35km e-bike cycle, 8km cycle, 15km "trail" run (trail, gravel and jeep track) and finish off with a 5km fun run/walk. These events will not be timed, participants will be informed that this is not a registered event.
2024 saw a field of 1,615 participants. For our 30th celebration, we are hoping for a field of 2,100 participants. However, the budget is based on 1,600 participants.
Each of the events will run back-to-back starting at Lilyfontein School. The Lilyfontein Tomato Trot & Cycle is the school’s biggest fundraiser, given that the event attracts almost as many supporters as it does athletes.
The event is all about fun in the great outdoors: Families enjoying a day out in the country. From the PTA food zone and beer tent, to the kids' entertainment zone, and the Eco Market, the Lilyfontein Tomato Trot and Cycle will be sure to put a smile on everyone’s face.
