About this event

The 2026 uMhlathuze Crocs Marathon took place on Saturday, 21 March 2026, at Addison Park in Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal. Distances were 42.2km, 21.1km, 10km and 5km. Official results have been published by the timekeeper. It was a qualifying event for the Comrades Marathon.

From rolling sugar cane fields to shimmering dam views and hills that require grit, the uMhlathuze Crocs Marathon delivers beauty with bite. If you love a course that inspires and tests you in equal measure — this is your race.

The marathon is a comrades qualifier.
