About Event
The 2026 Rand Water Vaal River City Marathon will take place Sunday, 13 September 2026 from 06h00 at the Isak Steyl Stadium in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng. Distances available include 42.2km, 21.1km, 10km and 5km races.
Hosted by Lekoa Athletics Club this year's event will offer athletes an early opportunity to accomplish their road running goals at the very beginning of the season while being ushered and cheered on through the lush green lush streets of Vanderbijlpark.
With new, renewed and revitalised partnerships, we look forward to another successful event. The marathon is a Comrades and Two Oceans Marathon Qualifier.
