About this event
The 2024 Balwin Sport Jeppe Marathon took place on Sunday, 11 February 2024, at Saheti School in Johannesburg, Gauteng. Distances were 42.2km, 21.1km, 10km and 5km. Official results have been published by the timekeeper. It was a qualifying event for both the Comrades Marathon and the Two Oceans Marathon.
Balwin Sport has taken over the sponsorship of the historical, long running Pick n Pay Marathon. The Balwin Sport Jeppe Marathon is back, bigger and better.
Now part of a larger four race inter-provincial marathon series. This race is steeped in history and is a gem on the Central Gauteng calendar which is a regular go-to for runners. The event is a Comrades and Two Oceans qualifier loved by many.
