Balwin Sport Jeppe Marathon
The 2026 Balwin Sport Jeppe Marathon will take place Sunday, 20 September 2026 from 06h00 at the Saheti School, Senderwood in Johannesburg, Gauteng. Distances available include 42.2km, 21.1km, 10km and 5km races.
The race having moved from its traditonal February date is now held in spring on the 20th September. This is the perfect time to get an early Comrades or Two Oceans qualifier behind you, or just come and tackle a 21km, 10km or even the 5km fun run.
This race is steeped in history and is a gem on the Central Gauteng calender which is a regular go-to for runners.
The route remains unchanged, the marathon is a testing two-lapper around Bedfordview and Edenvale.
