About this event

The 2024 Mandela Remembrance Walk & Run took place on Sunday, 8 December 2024, at Union Buildings in Pretoria, Gauteng. Distances were 21.1km, 10km and 5km. Official results have been published by the timekeeper.

The Nelson Mandela Foundation, in collaboration with the Gauteng Province, is set to honour the late President Nelson Mandela by hosting the Nelson Mandela Remembrance Walk and Run once again this year.
