African Bank customers are also offered 50% back on their entry fee when they make payment using their African Banks cards

Refunds

No refunds of entry fees

Substitutions

Substitutions will be allowed during the period 1 November to 10 November 2025 @ R100

Downgrades

Upgrades/downgrades between distances will only be allowed during the period of 1 November to 10 November 2025 @ R100

Number Collection will take place at:
- Johannesburg Expo Centre NASREC on
  - Thursday, 27 November @ 09h00-18h00
  - Friday, 28 November @ 09h00-18h00
  - Saturday, 29 November @ 08h30-18h00

NO race numbers will be issued on race day.

START & FINISH: Start and finish for all distances at Johannesburg Expo Centre, Narec

Handouts

Medals to all athletes who finishes within the cut-off time

Hydration

Water points will be provided

Electronic timing

Headphones

The use of music players with headphones is not allowed and may result in disqualification

Abultion

Toilets will be available at the start and finish

Medical

Medical staff will be on duty

For the runners' safety, a half-way cut-off will be enforced on the Marathon route: 21.1km at 3hours 20min and 4hours 25min at 30km

If you Google “Running Training Programs” or something similar you will find many free programs out there. And some are great, but if you are looking for something more, Coach Parry is the way to go.

They have a whole range of programs, and an awesome app to help you every step of the way. What is more you can join the forums on their website to ask questions or advise.
