About this event

The 2022 SPAR Tembisa Mile took place Sunday, 30 October 2022 from 07:00, at Moses Molelekwa Arts Centre, Tembisa in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. Distances included a 10km and 2km races.

The inaugural Thembisa Mile also known as Thembisa Street Mile
took place on 1 December 2012. The race comprises of a 1 Mile (1.6km)
and a 10km (6.214 miles) events. The 10km was added to the event in 2014
when the race became an official road race.

The race is open to runners and walkers of all abilities from beginners to the elite or professionals.
