About this event
The 2025 uMngeni-uThukela Water Marathon took place on Sunday, 9 March 2025, at Midmar Dam Resort in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal. Distances were 42.2km, 21.1km and 10km. Official results have been published by the timekeeper. It was a qualifying event for the Comrades Marathon.
The 27th uMngeni-uThukela Water Marathon takes place in March every year during National Water Week at Midmar Dam.
The Marathon is a Comrades Qualifing race
