The 2023 Rand Water Vaal River City Marathon took place Sunday, 3 September 2023 from 06:00, at Isak Steyl Stadium in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng, South Africa. Distances included a 42km, 21km, 10km and 5km races.

Come and join us at the 5th edition of the Vaal River City Marathon.

Come and join us on the winding roads of the misty morning Vanderbijlpark streets.

Come fill your athletic lungs with the cool and wet river air of the Emfuleni.

Come and get your firsts... whether it be your first qualifier race, first blister, first personal best, you name it you can have IT ALL !!
