No entries available on race day

Electronic timing for the 10 km, 21.1 km as well as the 42.2 km will be done by Finish Time.
Your results on the Web site will include both your “gun to mat” time as well as your “mat to mat” time.
In order for “Mat to Mat” timing to be effective, all runners must cross the timing mat at the start, the halfway mark (marathon only) and the finish line. It is therefore important to ONLY start inside the demarcated start area.
However, your “Mat to Mat” time will be allowed to be used as a qualifying time for the Comrades Marathon, as a kind concession by the Comrades Marathon Association

START & FINISH: Start and finish for all distances at Centurion Rugby Club, West Street

The use of music players with headphones is not allowed and may result in disqualification

START: Batch starts apply for all distances
CUT-OFF: Any participant in the 42.2km event, who has not reached the 21.1km/42.2km split (approximately 20 km mark) in 2 hours 40 minutes, will not be permitted to proceed on the 42.2km route and will the routed to the 21.1km finish.
WATER: Water points will be available approximately every 3 km.
GAUTRAIN: Did you know that taking the Gautrain to and from the venue is an option? Even on public holidays the trains from Sandton and Hatfield will arrive in time for the race. Collect your race pack before, then you won't have any stress.
PARKING: View parking areas
COVID: Strict Covid protocols will apply
ROAD CLOSURES:

Tshwane Metro have agreed that the intersection of Lenchen Avenue and West Avenue may be closed to all traffic from 3h00 to 12h00. Please use South street and Hendrik Verwoerd avenue to get to the designated parking areas.
This intersection is very close to the finish and the closure will ensure the safety for runners as well as ensuring you a clear passage to the finish line.
The closure will affect your route to and from the venue, but we trust that the safety which it brings to you will be worth it. Please plan your route to and from the venue accordingly.
West Avenue, between South and Lenchen will be closed from 03h00 to 12h00.
The start is in West Avenue and the closure will ensure your safety.
Only accredited vehicles will be allowed access. Please don't block the road and argue with marshals if you are not accredited.
